Our Projects
Study of Sustainable Rattan Commodities Within Social Forestry Areas, Non-Social Forestry Area, and the Integrated Development Area in East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan Provinces.

A comprehensive study on rattan as a commodity was carried out in two main provinces, focusing on several key areas, including an investigation of the current condition within the forest’s areas, optimizing its use at the local community level, and examining the rattan supply chain in Indonesia. The research also involved five other provinces to provide a broader view. The study aims to offer recommendations for YKAN in the development of sustainable rattan commodities, providing an alternative livelihood that is both better and more sustainable, while contributing to the prevention of forest deforestation.
